Soulpod

Soulpod bring a blend of rare, smoky grooves in the vein of Jill Scott, Quantic Soul, Alice Russell, 4Hero and many others to the Bath & Bristol music scene. Formed in 2006 as a back-to-basics 4-piece, the band comprises musicians who have worked together for many years (as well as being regular faces in local venues).

Becca Whale - vocals

Becca's soulful yet powerful voice is the star of the soulpod show. Although a relative newcomer, Bex has already been involved with Bootie, CCQ, Joan Davis and many others.

Dale Hambridge - keys

Fresh from the big smoke, virtuoso keys player Dale can already be seen with the Nick Malcolm Quintet, Bootie and many other local bands, as well as on his frequent solo outings.

Tom Woodworth - bass

Topper is one of the busiest musicians in the area with an impressive catalogue of session/dep work on top of his regular gigs with Nick Malcolm, Berry Goddard, Bootie, Dudlow Joe etc etc.

Martyn James - drums

Martyn has been plying his tight and funky grooves in the region for nearly 18 yrs. As well as gigs with Bootie and Dudlow Joe plus several regular deps, he is also a busy drum tutor. Full biog here
